Genesis 24 1  Abraham was now very old, and the  Lord  had blessed him in every way.  Genesis 28 20  Then Jacob made a vow, saying, “If God will be with me and will watch over me on this journey I am taking and will give me food to eat and clothes to wear  21  so that I return safely to my father’s household, then the  Lord  will be my God  Genesis 31 2  And Jacob noticed that Laban’s attitude toward him was not what it had been. 3  Then the  Lord  said to Jacob, “Go back to the land of your fathers and to your relatives, and I will be with you.” Isaiah 41 10  So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. 11  “All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish. 12  Though you search for your enemies, you will not find them. Those w...

Point 1 - Pray for others. Don't give up.  Be a Gap Stander Psalm 106:23 So he said he would destroy them--had not Moses, his chosen one, stood in the breach before him to keep his wrath from destroying them. Today's Scripture describes a time after God had delivered the Israelites from slavery in Egypt, then miraculously parted the Red Sea and gave them food and water in the desert. Despite all He had done for them, they started worshipping a golden calf along with partying and being immoral. God was so angry that He would have destroyed them had not Moses fasted and prayed, asking God to have mercy on the Israelites. Because one man stood in the breach for them, God changed His mind and spared their lives.  Why don't you do as Moses did and stand in the gap for family, friends, and coworkers who are off course and making poor choices.  Be a people lifter. Make it your mission to take time every day to help pray people into their destiny. Point 2 - Do good to others, GIV...

Job 5 11  He sets the lowly on high, so that mourners are lifted to safety. 17  Blessed indeed is the man whom God corrects; so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty. 18  For He wounds, but He also binds; He strikes, but His hands also heal. 19  He will rescue you from six calamities; no harm will touch you in seven. 20 I n famine He will redeem you from death, and in battle from the stroke of the sword. 21  You will be hidden from the scourge of the tongue, and will not fear havoc when it comes. 24  You will know that your tent is secure , and find nothing amiss when inspecting your home. 25  You will know that your offspring will be many, your descendants like the grass of the earth. 26  You will come to the grave in full vigor, like a sheaf of grain gathered in season.

Psalm 6 8  Away from me, all you who do evil, for the  Lord  has heard my weeping. 9  The  Lord  has heard my cry for mercy; the  Lord  accepts my prayer. 10  All my enemies will be overwhelmed with shame and anguish; they will turn back and suddenly be put to shame.

BUT ... Nahum 1 : 12 This is what the LORD says: “Although they have allies and are numerous, they will be destroyed and pass away. Although I have afflicted you, Judah, I will afflict you no more. 1 Kings 11:39 I will humble David’s descendants because of this, but not forever. Jeremiah 17 7 But blessed is the one who trusts in the  Lord , whose confidence is in him. 8  They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” 9 The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? 10  “I the  Lord  search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.” Keep your heart Right, Clean and wide open. Acts 10:28 28  He said to them: “You are well aware that it is against our law for a Jew to associate wi...

Proverbs 16 3  Commit to the  Lord  whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. 7  When the  Lord  takes pleasure in anyone’s way, he causes their enemies to make peace with them. 24  Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones. 32  Better a patient person than a warrior, one with self-control than one who takes a city. Hebrews 13:5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."

2 Chronicles 32   7  “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged because of the king of Assyria and the vast army with him, for there is a greater power with us than with him.  8  With him is only the arm of flesh, but with us is the  Lord  our God to help us and to fight our battles.”

Monday June 13

Exodus 33:14 The Lord replied, "I will personally go with you, Moses, and I will give you rest--everything will be fine for you." God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished" (Philippians 1:6). Today, be at peace, for God is personally going with you on your journey. Esther 8 16  For the Jews it was a time of happiness and joy, gladness and honor.  17  In every province and in every city to which the edict of the king came, there was joy and gladness among the Jews, with feasting and celebrating. And many people of other nationalities became Jews because fear of the Jews had seized them.

Ephesians 2: 10 For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. take comfort in the knowledge that Almighty God Himself is working in you to help you perform the good works He prepared in advance for just you to do. Thank you Jesus for working in me to perform the good works that You have prepared in advance for me to do .  2 Chronicles 30:12 in Judah the hand of God was on the people to give them unity of mind to carry out what the king and his officials had ordered, following the word of the  Lord . Jesus, give me and my children and my husband unity of mind to carry out what you want us to do. In Jesus name, Amen.

2 Chronicles 27 6 J otham grew powerful because he walked steadfastly before the  Lord  his God. Judges 7:2 Then the LORD said to Gideon, "I am going to help your men defeat the Midianites, but you have too many men. I don't want the Israelites to forget me and brag that they saved themselves." The Midianites had 135,000 men, but Gideon had only 32,000 men. Gideon no doubt thought he had too few men, but God told him that he had too many. The Israelites had cried out to the Lord for deliverance from the Midianites (Judges 6:6-7) and the Lord determined to make it plain to them that it was He that was going to save them. Thus, He had Gideon reduce his force to a mere 300 men. When you cry out to the Lord for your deliverance, then, don't be surprised if it comes in a way that makes it plain He got it for you.

June message

ISAIAH 66 5 Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed. 12  For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream : then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon  her  sides, and be dandled upon  her  knees. 13  As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem. 14 And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and  his  indignation toward his enemies.

2 chronicles 14:11 Lord , there is no one like you to help the powerless against the mighty . Help us,  Lord  our God, for we rely on you, and in your name we have come against this vast army.  Lord , you are our God; do not let mere mortals prevail against you.” 2 Chronicles 15:7 But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.” 2 Chronicles 19:11 Act with courage , and may the  Lord  be with those who do well. (are good)  Isaiah 64:8 And yet, O LORD, you are our Father. We are the clay, and you are the potter. We all are formed by your hand. We may appeal to God as our potter to mold us into something that He finds pleasing and acceptable.

Romans 15 :13 I pray that the God who gives hope will fill you with much joy and peace as you trust in him. Then you will have more and more hope, and it will flow out of you by the power of the Holy Spirit. We can have times when we have doubts about the sincerity of our salvation, doubts about the truth of the Bible and its promises for us, doubts about whether God has truly called us to do what we are doing, doubts about whether God truly cares for us and remembers us, and so on. Instead of lifting up the shield of faith to defend ourselves, we allow the burning arrows of the Evil One to strike blows of doubt and unbelief into our hearts (Ephesians 6:16).  It is time to lift up our shields of faith and stop the burning arrows of the Evil One . One of the best ways to do this is to read the Bible, especially those passages that address our doubts. The Bible tells us that faith comes by being exposed to the word of God (Romans 10:17). When we read the Bible, we afford the Holy Spi...
