February 11- Today's promise word

PSALM 16 : 9

Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure. 

Points to meditate

True joy is deeper than happiness. We can feel joy in spite of our deepest troubles. Happinees is based on external circumstances but joy is lasting because of God's presence with us. 
Do not look at your circumstances but look at God. Worship the Creator with your tongue and not the 'created things' ( idols/problems) 

Say aloud
My heart is glad and my tongue rejoices;
my body also will rest secure,  because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay.

Prayer

Lord, I thank you for giving me joy in my heart. Lord, You turn all my sorrows into joy. Thank you, Jesus. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Decide (to follow) Proverbs 15 : 1 A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.  Let your words be few ( Ecclesiastes 5 : 2) Lord, let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable.in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my redeemer. The Lord your God bless you in all the work of your hands. Deuteronomy 14:29 Deuteronomy 14 : 27 - 29 27  And do not neglect the Levites living in your towns, for they have no allotment or inheritance of their own. 28 At the end of every three years, bring all the tithes of that year’s produce and store it in your towns,   29  so that the Levites (who have no allotment or inheritance of their own) and the foreigners, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns may come and eat and be satisfied, and so that the  Lord  your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.
