FEBRUARY 18 Today's word promise

PROVERBS 18 : 16
A gift opens the way and ushers the giver into the presence of the great.

Points to meditate

Use your gifts ( talents).  If you can teach, start teaching. If you can write, start writing. If you can build, start building. Whatever you have,  develop it, keep getting better, it will open doors of promotion, favour and influence. 

Genesis 32:20
You are also to say, 'Look, your servant Jacob is right behind us.'" For he thought, "I will appease Esau with the gift that is going before me. After that I can face him, and perhaps he will accept me."
Proverbs 19:6
Many seek the favor of the prince, and everyone is a friend of the gift giver.

Say aloud
The LORD has give me gifts and talents. I will use it and bring glory to His name. Amen. 

Prayer, 

Loving heavenly Father, You are a wonderful counsellor. Please counsel me the way I should take, the work I should do. Please guide in every step of my life. Help me to use the gifts that You have given me. Help me not to shy away from giving You the glory. Help me to boldly praise You and stand as a testimony in front of many people. 
Thank You Lord for You shall comfort me and increase my honour. 
In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Decide (to follow) Proverbs 15 : 1 A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.  Let your words be few ( Ecclesiastes 5 : 2) Lord, let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable.in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my redeemer. The Lord your God bless you in all the work of your hands. Deuteronomy 14:29 Deuteronomy 14 : 27 - 29 27  And do not neglect the Levites living in your towns, for they have no allotment or inheritance of their own. 28 At the end of every three years, bring all the tithes of that year’s produce and store it in your towns,   29  so that the Levites (who have no allotment or inheritance of their own) and the foreigners, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns may come and eat and be satisfied, and so that the  Lord  your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.
