Friday fasting verses 29 July 2022

Psalm 54 7 You have delivered me from all my troubles, and my eyes have looked in triumph on my foes. Psalm 55 18 He rescues me unharmed from the battle waged against me, even though many oppose me. Psalm 57 1  Have mercy on me, my God, have mercy on me, for in you I take refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings until the disaster has passed. 6  They spread a net for my feet— I was bowed down in distress. They dug a pit in my path— but they have fallen into it themselves. Psalm 58 10  The righteous will be glad when they are avenged, when they dip their feet in the blood of the wicked. 11  Then people will say, “Surely the righteous still are rewarded; surely there is a God who judges the earth.” Psalm 60 11  Give us aid against the enemy, for human help is worthless. 12  With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.

Sunday verses 17 July 2022

Psalm 18 28  You,  Lord , keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light. 30  As for God, his way is perfect: The  Lord ’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.  31  For who is God besides the  Lord ? And who is the Rock except our God? 32  It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure. 33  He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he causes me to stand on the heights. 35 You make your saving help my shield, and your right hand sustains me; your help has made me great. 36  You provide a broad path for my feet, so that my ankles do not give way. 47  He is the God who avenges me, who subdues nations under me, 48  who saves me from my enemies. You exalted me above my foes; from a violent man you rescued me. Psalm 19 13 Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then I will be blameless, innocent of great transgression. 14  May these words of my mouth and t...

Job chapter verses

Job 1 1 This man was blameless and upright; he feared God and shunned evil.  5 Early in the morning he would sacrifice a burnt offering for each of them, thinking, “Perhaps my children have sinned and cursed God in their hearts.” This was Job’s regular custom. 10 Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land.  21 Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The  Lord  gave and the  Lord  has taken away; may the name of the  Lord  be praised.” 22  In all this, Job did not sin by charging God with wrongdoing. Job 2 10  He replied, “You are talking like a foolish  woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?” In all this, Job did not sin in what he said. Job 5 24 You will know that your tent is secure; you will take stock of your property and find nothing missing. 25  You...

Sunday 10 July 2022 verses, Friday fasting

Numbers 11 : 23 The  Lord  answered Moses, “Is the  Lord ’s arm too short? Now you will see whether or not what I say will come true for you.” James 1 2  Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds,  3  because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.  2 Corianthians 13 : 5 5  Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test? 6 And I trust that you will discover that we have not failed the test. 8  For we cannot do anything against the truth, but only for the truth.  STAND THE TEST (of faith)  Like Shadrach, Mesach, Abednego HE WILL HELP YOU IN THE TEST Like John in Revelation 1.  Rev 1:17 17  When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said:  19  “Write, therefore, what you have seen, what i...

They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away. 12  “I, even I, am he who comforts you. Who are you that you fear mere mortals, human beings who are but grass, 13  that you forget the  Lord  your Maker, 22  This is what your Sovereign  Lord  says, your God, who defends his people: “See, I ...
