Fasting prayer

PSALM 34

1Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord.

12 Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days,

13 keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies.

14 Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.

Psalm 37

32 The wicked lie in wait for the righteous, intent on putting them to death;

33 but the Lord will not leave them in the power of the wicked or let them be condemned when brought to trial.

PSALM 38

21 Lord, do not forsake me; do not be far from me, my God.

22 Come quickly to help me, my Lord and my Savior.

PSALM 39

1 I will watch my ways and keep my tongue from sin;

11 When you rebuke and discipline anyone for their sin, you consume their wealth like a moth—

PROVERBS 23

15 My son, if your heart is wise, then my heart will be glad indeed;

16 my inmost being will rejoice when your lips speak what is right.

Saying 15

17 Do not let your heart envy sinners, but always be zealous for the fear of the Lord.

18 There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.

Jesus, please have mercy on me, a sinner. Forgive me for the negative, rash and corrupt words that has come out of my mouth. Sorry Jesus. If we confess our sins to You, You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Please forgive me and cleanse me from all my unrighteousness. Help me not to speak rashly and let no corrupt or negative words come out of my mouth from this moment onwards. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

 Lord, help me to keep my tongue from sin. Help me to be wise in heart and also help my lips to always speak what is right and make your heart rejoice. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

This day - 29 October 2021 - when in dilemma whether to invest more

The Lord your God bless you in all the work of your hands. Deuteronomy 14:29 Deuteronomy 14 : 27 - 29 27  And do not neglect the Levites living in your towns, for they have no allotment or inheritance of their own. 28 At the end of every three years, bring all the tithes of that year’s produce and store it in your towns,   29  so that the Levites (who have no allotment or inheritance of their own) and the foreigners, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns may come and eat and be satisfied, and so that the  Lord  your God may bless you in all the work of your hands. Proverbs 10:22  The blessing of the  Lord  brings wealth,  without painful toil for it.
