Promise verse - Jeremiah 32:27
Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is anything too hard for me?

Ephesians 3
16I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

20Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

Isaiah 26
11Lord, your hand is lifted high,
but they do not see it.
Let them see your zeal for your people and be put to shame;
let the fire reserved for your enemies consume them.

12Lord, you establish peace for us;
all that we have accomplished you have done for us.

Isaiah 30: 26
The moon will shine like the sun, and the sunlight will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven full days, when the Lord binds up the bruises of his people and heals the wounds he inflicted.

Isaiah 31
5Like birds hovering overhead,
the Lord Almighty will shield Jerusalem;
he will shield it and deliver it,
he will ‘pass over’ it and will rescue it.”

Isaiah 32
18My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest.

20how blessed you will be, sowing your seed by every stream,and letting your cattle and donkeys range free.

Isaiah 33
19You will see those arrogant people no more,
people whose speech is obscure,
whose language is strangeand incomprehensible.

24No one living in Zion will say, “I am ill”;
and the sins of those who dwell there will be forgiven.

When I was troubled - why should I go through this.. 


Philippians 1
12Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel. 
27 stand firm in the one Spirit,  striving together as one for the faith of the gospel.

 28without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. This is a sign to them that they will be destroyed, but that you will be saved—and that by God. 
29For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him,

Isaiah 43

Since you are precious and honored in my sight,
    and because I love you,
I will give people in exchange for you,
    nations in exchange for your life.
Do not be afraid, for I am with you;
    I will bring your children from the east
    and gather you from the west.

18“Forget the former things;
    do not dwell on the past.
19 19 See, I am doing a new thing!
    Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
    and streams in the wasteland.

ISAIAH 44

3.. I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring,
    and my blessing on your descendants.
4 They will spring up like grass in a meadow,
    like poplar trees by flowing streams.
Some will say, ‘I belong to the Lord’;
    others will call themselves by the name of Jacob;
still others will write on their hand, ‘The Lord’s,’
    and will take the name Israel.

ISAIAH 44
25.. who overthrows the learning of the wise
    and turns it into nonsense,
26 26 who carries out the words of his servants
    and fulfills the predictions of his messengers,

ISAIAH 45

14 This is what the Lord says:

14 “The products of Egypt and the merchandise of Cush,
    and those tall Sabeans—
they will come over to you
    and will be yours;
they will trudge behind you,
    coming over to you in chains.
They will bow down before you
    and plead with you, saying,
Surely God is with you, and there is no other;
    there is no other god.’

24 They will say of me, ‘In the Lord alone are deliverance and strength.’”
All who have raged against him  will come to him and be put to shame.
25 25 But all the descendants of Israel will find deliverance in the Lord and will make their boast in him.

"Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me" (Psalm 51:10).

Philippians 4

4Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

13I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

18 They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. 19And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 2

14Do everything without grumbling or arguing, 15so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” c Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky 16as you hold firmly to the word of life.

Colossians 3

17And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

23Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. 25Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for their wrongs, and there is no favoritism.

ISAIAH 49

16 See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;
    your walls are ever before me.
17 17 children hasten back,
    and those who laid you waste depart from you.
18 18 Lift up your eyes and look around;
    all your children gather and come to you.
As surely as I live,” declares the Lord,
    “you will wear them all as ornaments;
    you will put them on, like a bride.

ISAIAH 50

7 Because the Sovereign Lord helps me,
    I will not be disgraced.
Therefore have I set my face like flint,
    and I know I will not be put to shame.
8 He who vindicates me is near.
    Who then will bring charges against me?
    Let us face each other!

ISAIAH 51

3 The Lord will surely comfort Zion
    and will look with compassion on all her ruins;
he will make her deserts like Eden,
    her wastelands like the garden of the Lord.

Joy and gladness will be found in her,
    thanksgiving and the sound of singing.

22 This is what your Sovereign Lord says,

    your God, who defends his people:
See, I have taken out of your hand
    the cup that made you stagger;
from that cup, the goblet of my wrath,
    you will never drink again.

23 23 I will put it into the hands of your tormentors,
    who said to you,
    ‘Fall prostrate that we may walk on you.’
And you made your back like the ground,
    like a street to be walked on.”

12 But you will not leave in haste
    or go in flight;
for the Lord will go before you,
    the God of Israel will be your rear guard.

ISAIAH 54

6The Lord will call you back
    as if you were a wife deserted and distressed in spirit—

    I hid my face from you for a moment,
but with everlasting kindness
    I will have compassion on you,”

Terror will be far removed;
    it will not come near you.
15 15 If anyone does attack you, it will not be my doing;
    whoever attacks you will surrender to you.
17 no weapon forged against you will prevail,
    and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
    and this is their vindication from me,”
declares the Lord.

ISAIAH 58

“Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen:
to loose the chains of injustice
    and untie the cords of the yoke,
to set the oppressed free
    and break every yoke?
7 Is it not to share your food with the hungry
    and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter—
when you see the naked, to clothe them,
    and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?
8 Then your light will break forth like the dawn,
    and your healing will quickly appear;
then your righteousness will go before you,
    and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard.
9 Then you will call, and the Lord will answer;
    you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I.

13 if you call the Sabbath a delight
    and the Lord’s holy day honorable,
and if you honor it by not going your own way
    and not doing as you please or speaking idle words,
14 14 then you will find your joy in the Lord,
    and I will cause you to ride in triumph on the heights of the land
    and to feast on the inheritance of your father Jacob.”
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.

Isaiah 59
20 The Redeemer will come to Zion,
    to those in Jacob who repent of their sins,”
declares the Lord.

21 “As for me, this is my covenant with them,” says the Lord. “My Spirit, who is on you, will not depart from you, and my words that I have put in your mouth will always be on your lips, on the lips of your children and on the lips of their descendants—from this time on and forever,” says the Lord.

Isaiah 60
1“Arise, shine, for your light has come,
    and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.
2 ... but the Lord rises upon you
    and his glory appears over you.
3 Nations will come to your light,
    and kings to the brightness of your dawn.

4 “Lift up your eyes and look about you:
    All assemble and come to you;
your sons come from afar,
    and your daughters are carried on the hip.
5 Then you will look and be radiant,
    your heart will throb and swell with joy;
the wealth on the seas will be brought to you,
    to you the riches of the nations will come.

18 No longer will violence be heard in your land,
    nor ruin or destruction within your borders,
but you will call your walls Salvation
    and your gates Praise.
19 The sun will no more be your light by day,
    nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you,
for the Lord will be your everlasting light,
    and your God will be your glory.
20 Your sun will never set again,
    and your moon will wane no more;
the Lord will be your everlasting light,
    and your days of sorrow will end.
21 Then all your people will be righteous
    and they will possess the land forever.
They are the shoot I have planted,
    the work of my hands,
    for the display of my splendor.
22 The least of you will become a thousand,
    the smallest a mighty nation.
I am the Lord;
    in its time I will do this swiftly.”

1 எழும்பிப் பிரகாசி; உன் ஒளிவந்தது, கர்த்தருடைய மகிமை உன்மேல் உதித்தது.
2 இதோ, இருள் பூமியையும், காரிருள் வானங்களையும் மூடும்; ஆனாலும் உன்மேல் கர்த்தர் உதிப்பார்; அவருடைய மகிமை உன்மேல் காணப்படும்.
3 உன் வெளிச்சத்தினிடத்துக்கு ஜாதிகளும், உதிக்கிற உன் ஒளியினிடத்துக்கு ராஜாக்களும் நடந்துவருவார்கள்.
4 சுற்றிலும் உன் கண்களை ஏறெடுத்துப்பார்; அவர்கள் எல்லாரும் ஏகமாய்க்கூடி உன்னிடத்திற்கு வருகிறார்கள்; உன் குமாரர் தூரத்திலிருந்து வந்து, உன் குமாரத்திகள் உன் பக்கத்திலே வளர்க்கப்படுவார்கள்.
5 அப்பொழுது நீ அதைக் கண்டு ஓடிவருவாய்; உன் இருதயம் அதிசயப்பட்டுப் பூரிக்கும்; கடற்கரையின் திரளான கூட்டம் உன் வசமாக திரும்பும், ஜாதிகளின் பலத்த சேனை உன்னிடத்துக்கு வரும்.
6 ஒட்டகங்களின் ஏராளமும், மீதியான ஏப்பாத் தேசங்களின் வேகமான ஒட்டகங்களும் உன்னை மூடும்; சேபாவிலுள்ளவர்கள் யாவரும் பொன்னையும் தூபவர்க்கத்தையும் கொண்டுவந்து, கர்த்தரின் துதிகளைப் பிரசித்தப்படுத்துவார்கள்.
7 கேதாரின் ஆடுகளெல்லாம் உன்னிடத்தில் சேர்க்கப்படும்; நெபாயோத்தின் கடாக்கள் உன்னைச் சேவித்து, அங்கிகரிக்கப்பட்டதாய் என் பலிபீடத்தின்மேல் ஏறும்; என் மகிமையின் ஆலயத்தை மகிமைப்படுத்துவேன்.
8 மேகத்தைப்போலவும் தங்கள் பலகணித்துவாரங்களுக்குத் தீவிரிக்கிற புறாக்களைப்போலவும் பறந்துவருகிற இவர்கள் யார்?
9 தீவுகள் எனக்குக் காத்திருக்கும்; அவர் உன்னை மகிமைப்படுத்தினார் என்று உன் பிள்ளைகளையும், அவர்களோடேகூட அவர்கள் பொன்னையும் அவர்கள் வெள்ளியையும் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் நாமத்துக்கென்றும் இஸ்ரவேலின் பரிசுத்தருக்கென்றும் தூரத்திலிருந்து கொண்டுவர, தர்ஷீசின் கப்பல்களும் ஏற்கனவே எனக்குக் காத்திருக்கும்.
10 அந்நியரின் புத்திரர் உன் மதில்களைக் கட்டி, அவர்களுடைய ராஜாக்கள் உன்னைச் சேவிப்பார்கள்; என் கடுங்கோபத்தினால் உன்னை அடித்தேன்; ஆனாலும் என் கிருபையினால் உனக்கு இரங்கினேன்.
11 உன்னிடத்துக்கு ஜாதிகளின் பலத்த சேனையைக் கொண்டுவரும்படிக்கும், அவர்களுடைய ராஜாக்களை அழைத்துவரும்படிக்கும் உன் வாசல்கள் இரவும்பகலும் பூட்டப்படாமல் எப்பொழுதும் திறந்திருக்கும்.
12 உன்னைச் சேவிக்காத ஜாதியும் ராஜ்யமும் அழியும்; அந்த ஜாதிகள் நிச்சயமாய்ப் பாழாகும்.
13 என் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தானத்தைச் சிங்காரிக்கும்படிக்கு, லீபனோனின் மகிமையும், தேவதாரு விருட்சங்களும், பாய்மர விருட்சங்களும், புன்னைமரங்களுங்கூட உன்னிடத்திற்குக் கொண்டுவரப்படும்; என் பாதஸ்தானத்தை மகிமைப்படுத்துவேன்.
14 உன்னை ஒடுக்கினவர்களின் பிள்ளைகளும் குனிந்து உன்னிடத்தில் வந்து, உன்னை அசட்டைபண்ணின யாவரும் உன் காலத்தில் பணிந்து, உன்னைக் கர்த்தருடைய நகரம் என்றும், இஸ்ரவேலுடைய பரிசுத்தரின் சீயோன் என்றும் சொல்வார்கள்.
15 நீ நெகிழப்பட்டதும், கைவிடப்பட்டதும், ஒருவரும் கடந்து நடவாததுமாயிருந்தாய்; ஆனாலும் உன்னை நித்திய மாட்சிமையாகவும், தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாயிருக்கும் மகிழ்ச்சியாகவும் வைப்பேன்.
16 நீ ஜாதிகளின் பாலைக் குடித்து, ராஜாக்களின் முலைப்பாலையும் உண்டு, கர்த்தராகிய நான் இரட்சகரென்றும், யாக்கோபின் வல்லவர் உன் மீட்பரென்றும் அறிந்துகொள்வாய்.
17 நான் வெண்கலத்துக்குப் பதிலாகப் பொன்னையும், இரும்புக்குப் பதிலாக வெள்ளியையும், மரங்களுக்குப் பதிலாக வெண்கலத்தையும், கற்களுக்குப் பதிலாக இரும்பையும், வரப்பண்ணி, உன் கண்காணிகளைச் சமாதானமுள்ளவர்களும், உன் தண்டற்காரரை நீதியுள்ளவர்களுமாக்குவேன்.
18 இனிக் கொடுமை உன் தேசத்திலும், அழிவும் நாசமும் உன் எல்லைகளிலும் கேட்கப்படமாட்டாது; உன் மதில்களை இரட்சிப்பென்றும் உன்வாசல்களைத் துதியென்றும் சொல்லுவாய்.
19 இனிச் சூரியன் உனக்குப் பகலிலே வெளிச்சமாயிராமலும், சந்திரன் தன் வெளிச்சத்தால் உனக்குப் பிரகாசியாமலும், கர்த்தர் உனக்கு நித்திய வெளிச்சமும், உன் தேவனே உனக்கு மகிமையுமாயிருப்பார்.
20 உன் சூரியன் இனி அஸ்தமிப்பதுமில்லை, உன் சந்திரன் மறைவதுமில்லை; கர்த்தரே உனக்கு நித்திய வெளிச்சமாயிருப்பார்; உன் துக்கநாட்கள் முடிந்துபோம்.
21 உன் ஜனங்கள் யாவரும் நீதிமான்களும், என்றைக்கும் பூமியைச் சுதந்தரிக்குங் குடிகளும், நான் நட்ட கிளைகளும், நான் மகிமைப்படும்படி என் கரங்களின் கிரியைகளுமாயிருப்பார்கள்.
22 சின்னவன் ஆயிரமும், சிறியவன் பலத்த ஜாதியுமாவான்; கர்த்தராகிய நான் ஏற்றகாலத்தில் இதைத் தீவிரமாய் நடப்பிப்பேன்.

Psalm 37
5 Commit your way to the Lord;
    trust in him and he will do this:
6 He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn,
    your vindication like the noonday sun.
9 For those who are evil will be destroyed,
    but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land.
10 A little while, and the wicked will be no more;
    though you look for them, they will not be found.

17 October 24
Isaiah 61
7 Instead of your shame
    you will receive a double portion,
and instead of disgrace
    you will rejoice in your inheritance.
And so you will inherit a double portion in your land,and everlasting joy will be yours.
9 Their descendants will be known among the nations
    and their offspring among the peoples.
All who see them will acknowledge
    that they are a people the Lord has blessed.”

Isaiah 62
2 The nations will see your vindication,
    and all kings your glory;
you will be called by a new name
    that the mouth of the Lord will bestow.
3 You will be a crown of splendor in the Lord’s hand,
    a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
4 No longer will they call you Deserted,
    or name your land Desolate.
But you will be called Hephzibah,
    and your land Beulah;
for the Lord will take delight in you,
    and your land will be married.  
6 ...You who call on the Lord,
    give yourselves no rest,
7 and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem
    and makes her the praise of the earth.

8 The Lord has sworn by his right hand
    and by his mighty arm:
Never again will I give your grain
    as food for your enemies,
and never again will foreigners drink the new wine
    for which you have toiled;
9 but those who harvest it will eat it
    and praise the Lord,
and those who gather the grapes will drink it
    in the courts of my sanctuary.”

1 Thessalonians 4
4that each of you should learn to control your own body a in a way that is holy and honorable,
11and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life: You should mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you, 12so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody.

1 Thessalonians 5
11Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

Final Instructions

12Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you. 13Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other. 15Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.

16Rejoice always, 17pray continually, 18give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

19Do not quench the Spirit. 20Do not treat prophecies with contempt 21but test them all; hold on to what is good, 22reject every kind of evil.

Isaiah 64
4Since ancient times no one has heard,
no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides you, who acts on behalf of those who wait for him.
5You come to the help of those who gladly do right, who remember your ways.

Isaiah 65:18

18But be glad and rejoice forever
in what I will create,
for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight
and its people a joy.

19I will rejoice over Jerusalem
and take delight in my people;
the sound of weeping and of crying will be heard in it no more.
22No longer will they build houses and others live in them,or plant and others eat.
For as the days of a tree,
so will be the days of my people;
my chosen ones will long enjoy
the work of their hands.

23They will not labor in vain,
nor will they bear children doomed to misfortune;
for they will be a people blessed by the Lord,
they and their descendants with them.

24Before they call I will answer;
while they are still speaking I will hear.

Isaiah 66
2 “These are the ones I look on with favor:
those who are humble and contrite in spirit,
and who tremble at my word.

6Hear that uproar from the city,
hear that noise from the temple!
It is the sound of the Lord
repaying his enemies all they deserve.
12 For this is what the Lord says:
“I will extend peace to her like a river,
and the wealth of nations like a flooding stream; you will nurse and be carried on her arm and dandled on her knees.
14When you see this, your heart will rejoice
and you will flourish like grass;
the hand of the Lord will be made known to his servants,
but his fury will be shown to his foes.
22“As the new heavens and the new earth that I make will endure before me,” declares the Lord, “so will your name and descendants endure. 

Jeremiah 3
19 “‘How gladly would I treat you like my children
    and give you a pleasant land,
    the most beautiful inheritance of any nation.’

2 Thessalonians 1
6God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you 7and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well.

2 Thessalonians 3
3But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.

But though they thunder like breakers on a beach, God will silence them, and they will run away. They will flee like chaff scattered by the wind, like a tumbleweed whirling before a storm. - Isaiah 17:13

Maybe things will look bad at first. Maybe the thundering and roaring will be almost too much to bear. But we should stand firm in faith anyway. In the morning, things will be different. In the morning, we will go out and find our enemies are gone (Isaiah 17:14). In the night, the Lord will go to battle for us and give them the fitting end they deserve.

Jeremiah 11
20But you, Lord Almighty, who judge righteously and test the heart and mind,
let me see your vengeance on them,
for to you I have committed my cause.

Jeremiah 17

5This is what the Lord says:
“Cursed is the one who trusts in man,
who draws strength from mere flesh
and whose heart turns away from the Lord.

6That person will be like a bush in the wastelands;
they will not see prosperity when it comes.
They will dwell in the parched places of the desert, in a salt land where no one lives.

7“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him.
8They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.”

14Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed;
save me and I will be saved,
for you are the one I praise.

17Do not be a terror to me;
you are my refuge in the day of disaster.

18Let my persecutors be put to shame,
but keep me from shame;
let them be terrified,
but keep me from terror.
Bring on them the day of disaster;
destroy them with double destruction.

Jeremiah 15
11 Surely I will deliver you for a good purpose;
surely I will make your enemies plead with you
in times of disaster and times of distress.

20I will make you a wall to this people,
a fortified wall of bronze;
they will fight against you
but will not overcome you,
for I am with you
to rescue and save you,”
declares the Lord.

21“I will save you from the hands of the wicked
and deliver you from the grasp of the cruel.”

Jeremiah 20

11But the Lord is with me like a mighty warrior;
so my persecutors will stumble and not prevail.
They will fail and be thoroughly disgraced;
their dishonor will never be forgotten.

12Lord Almighty, you who examine the righteous
and probe the heart and mind,
let me see your vengeance on them,
for to you I have committed my cause.

13Sing to the Lord!
Give praise to the Lord!
He rescues the life of the needy
from the hands of the wicked.

Jeremiah 29
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Jeremiah 30

3The days are coming,’ declares the Lord, ‘when I will bring my people Israel and Judah back from captivity a and restore them to the land I gave their ancestors to possess,’ says the Lord.”

17But I will restore you to health
and heal your wounds,’
declares the Lord,
‘because you are called an outcast,
Zion for whom no one cares.’

18“This is what the Lord says:
“ ‘I will restore the fortunes of Jacob’s tents
and have compassion on his dwellings;
the city will be rebuilt on her ruins,
and the palace will stand in its proper place.

The Lord your God bless you in all the work of your hands.
